Pick a daily focus product and announce it at the end of each morning huddle. (Not meeting every morning? It’s a great way to keep employees excited and on the same page as you!) Have employees suggest the focus product to every customer that shops in your store that day. This is a great way to not only increase sales but reduced inventory of a specific product or line.

Don’t forget to recognize employees for remembering to suggest it, and of course, for making sales!

Helpful Hint: Don’t pick a product with a limited audience (such as a wedding or baby gift) and stay away from higher price points. This strategy works best on affordable items that almost anyone can use, such as candles, stationery or jewelry.
