Upsell every sale with this rapid “rain-dear” game…
(as in make it rain, dear!)
Before your doors open, gather your staff for a motivation morning huddle. Have associates stand in a circle. Starting with the employee on your left, point out a product in the store and have him or her name another item that can be sold with it. (For instance, a mug and gourmet hot chocolate mix.)
Move clockwise until everyone has participated. Just like that you’ve conducted on-the-spot product training and your staff will be prepared to add dollars to every sale. Repeat every morning through Christmas!
